"Co-operation inspires creative solutions"
The company was founded in 1989, to supply information technology solutions to the motor repair industry
and has been built on a solid foundation of unsurpassed industry experience and knowledge.
In those early times, the founder of the company saw the need for a computerised estimating solution that
could calculate an accurate, fair, and reasonable cost for repairing accident damaged vehicles. That initial
product, know as CoRE (Computerised Repair Estimating) was developed with the full co-operation and input of
assessors, insurers, and repairers. This collective effort produced a suite of software applications which
fully satisfied the requirements of the whole industry.
With advancements in technology, a new system, called Motex EasiEst, was developed, which still retained the
earlier qualities of being a complete one-stop solution thanks to our commitment to
listen to our users and moving forward with industry and technological developments.
EasiEst's advanced functionality, vehicle repair database, user-friendly environment, and success within the
UK market brought interest and clients from around the globe. In 2001 we opened a Motex office in Australia,
and agents located in Europe and the Middle East.
In 2004 the founder of the company retired. The new management team widened the company's horizons by offering
its capabilities and expertise to clientele requiring bespoke software development and website design.
This diversification has been a great success, with Motex winning contracts with Honda and RAC.
The latest incarnation of the Estimating and Management system is called Reportal, which takes the system online
so it can be used anywhere in the world with an Internet connection and future-proofs it's development, whilst still retaining all the functionality
to compile accurate repair estimates and manage vehicle claims.
Our success, over the years, has been achieved by continually working with our clients, listening to their
requirements, and by being able to deliver intuitive and flexible solutions, and we welcome the opportunity
